Foundly is a female-owned start-up, based in Cologne, Germany.

The brand name Foundly blends the words Founding and Friendly and symbolises an intention to build a company that benefits people and nature. The launch product, the Urban Cross Bottle, is the upgraded version of the conventional Hot-Water Bottle.

The start-up has received great support from Gründerstipendium NRW (an initiative of the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia), tomany other sources to prestigious grants, like medical specialists and physiotherapists and industry mentors.

Who designed the Foundly Hot-Water Bottle?

Studio Moritz Putzier is a interdisciplinary design office based Cologne. The projects include furniture and lighting designs, design of user-oriented industrial products, to spatial concepts. His studio was founded in 2015 and already won several international design awards. Moritz Putzier teaches product design at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken.
